The iPhone newsreader I use, NewsTapLite, has autocorrect disabled for
the subject line and nowhere else. It’s an odd design.
It’s also a good reminder of how well autocorrect actually works and
how handy it is, even though we like to make fun of it.
The highest probability is that you are illiterate. Most Democrats are.

X is far from illiterate and is a good person, even if he is a Democrat.

Anyone who voted for Obama and / or Clinton is both illiterate
and a bad person.

I assume you use a real computer so haven’t experienced the challenges of
typing accurately on a smartphone “keyboard”. Auto correct helps immensely
with that.

For those who are wondering why so many idiots have suddenly turned up
in alt.usage.english, I can reveal that this thread is crossposted from
rec.sport.football.college. If you are wondering why so many college
football fans are idiots, I have no answer.

I do. They are not Bama fans, they don't like brown snakes and they
accidently threw a shrimp on a barbie. :)

Yes, technologically I have been in last place for some time. I need
crutches when I use a smartphone.

My autocorrect on the smartphone was not to text. :) If I got a text,
I called back. This past weekend both sons were here for my 92nd
birthday and they showed me how to use voice to text on my Note 4.
Yesterday I bought an S 10 and can voice text.
