The archive of the old
alt.usage.english
newsgroup
seems not longer searchable with the form at
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.usage.english

I was able to fill in the form and get results just days ago.

Not a sign of progress.

Any alternatives?

i just checked and Searching works fine.

I rechecked:
- from Firefox, still could not fill the form
- from Edge, was able to fill the form and run the search

On Sept.13 (Friday) Gmail started forcing all of us to
use the full GUI
(before this date, PC users could use the light Mobile GUI)

it's ok on Edge, but the GUI is sometimes very slow in Firefox
(esp. the initial Loading of Gmail full GUI)

Still seems to work for me at
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.usage.english
but of course only for postings up to 23/2/2024.

i just tried using Edge and
the searching worked fine.




Google discontinued it (in Feb)
because they thought was no Money in it ???
