Are these sentences correct:

1) We need time so that our friends realize that our ideas are good.
2) We need time for our friends to realize that our ideas are good.

3) I need time so that the oven gets to the right temperature.
4) I need time for the oven to get to the right temperature.

(2) and (4) look good. The other two are technically correct, but sound
unnatural.

I would modify (4) to change the subject.

(4a) The oven takes time to get to the right temperature.
