Dear All,

Very simple grammar question:-
For date format:

Group A using:- Group B using:-
1st July, 2005 1st July,
2005
2nd July, 2005 2nd July,
2005
3rd July, 2005 3rd July,
2005
4th July, 2005 4th July,
2005
11st July, 2005 * 11th July,
2005 *
12nd July,2005 * 12th July,
2005 *

Could you tell me which group is correct ? (A or B)

(Search from Internet, both of them are being used.)

After figuring out your weird format, (caused by line lengths that are too
long with hard returns and are even worse now) it is Group B that had it
down pat.

go by the ones-digit: "st" for a one, "nd" for a two, "rd" for a
three, and "th" for all other digits.

In one computer game I have, there is sometimes a unit named "111st
Infantry". I simply pronounce this "eleventy-first infantry".
