Discussion:
[peripatetic] I had never heard of a 'peripatetic career' before today

Discussions with acquaintances and former work colleagues paint a picture
of a woman with an impressive intellect, but a peripatetic career in a
string of short-term jobs in which she never quite settled down, despite
embellishing her CV along the way.

Yes, the bloke who taught me to play the bassoon was a /peripatetic
teacher/, who visited a circuit of schools (country area, schools not
very big).

Don't ask me to play one now.

As to the pager and walkie-talkie attack - reprehensible, no doubt, and
perhaps unwise, but jolly clever all the same.

Just to bring that etymology trail to the present, 'peripato' (περίπατο)
is a common word (noun) in modern Greek meaning 'a walk'.

[Aside] I found the writing style of that NDTV article rather awkward
and difficult to follow.

"What...says she hasn't done is make the exploding pagers that killed 12
people. "
