Ah, perhaps you've heard by now: there's a HIDDEN MESSAGE in the
Starbucks logo!

But if you are of delicate sensibilities (i.e. if you would be
offended by the language of an R-rated movie or an angry teenager), do
NOT click to see it! (Once you see it, of course, you cannot un-see
it!)

There is also a version with the face of Emily the Strange, everyone's
favorite maladjusted teenager ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emily_the_strange

Does anyone remember the Procter & Gamble logo controversy?

=== begin quoted text ===

The company received unwanted media publicity in the 1980s when rumors
spread that the moon-and-stars logo was a satanic symbol. The
accusation was based on a particular passage in the Bible,
specifically Revelation 12:1, which states: "And there appeared a
great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon
under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars." P&G's logo
consisted of a man's face on the moon surrounded by 13 stars, and some
claimed that the logo was a mockery of the heavenly symbol alluded to
in the aforementioned verse, thus construing the logo to be satanic.
Where the flowing beard meets the surrounding circle, three curls were
said to be a mirror image of the number 666, or the reflected number
of the beast. At the top and bottom, the hair curls in on itself, and
was said to be the two horns like those of a ram that represented the
false prophet.

A message to keep at the ready....

Less contrived, are we all aware of the arrow concealed in the FedEx logo?...

They even managed to work one (also pointing "forward") into the Arabic
equivalent:

There's something appealingly brainless about that.

Oh, that's nice. I hadn't realized that. I see at least one claim on
the web that they did it in Hebrew, too, but I can't find a picture.
I'm not sure where I would put one (at least one pointing left),
either in block letters or cursive.

Now it's time to find the "31" in the Baskin Robbins logo, and the bear in the
mountain on the Toblerone label....r

Bit of gestalt, there. Now that I've seen it I will always see it, which
may become annoying after a while.

YOu don't have the London 2012 Olympic logo to contend with. It's
everywhere here. Someone told me about that about 3 minutes after it
was announced; I'll never look at Lisa Simpson the same way again.

Even dafter claims were made about this Calvin Klein ad:

calvin.html>

The current UK edition of Elle Decoration, however, leaves nothing to
the imagination:

nd-vagina-on.html>

And no, it's not a fake. The magazine is currently using that cover as a
banner on its website. Here's a large version from elsewhere:

I suppose that might appeal to the sort of juvenile minds that think
it's clever to deface posters.

Did you not notice that there is a hidden message in the URL?
